Sam Brighton is in a bad place. A recent widower, he's spiraling into despair over the sudden loss of his wife killed by the reckless actions of another in a car crash.  Skipping work, not taking care of himself, and drinking too much, he's managed to alienate everyone close to him.  

Returning to his wife's hometown of Delavan to get away from everybody, he experiences a series of surprise coincidences and comedic events. He soon realizes self-pity and isolation are not the type of life he's meant to live.

In this family-friendly adventure, follow Sam on his nostalgic trip to a beautiful, small Wisconsin town and experience the roller coaster of emotions of a man who thought he had nothing to live for.
