Located above the historic Delavan Theatre, Creative Wisconsin Filmmakers is a blend of professionals with experience in directing, writing, and video production. All natives of Wisconsin, Mark and E.G. graduated from U.W.-Platteville and Andy from U.W.-Whitewater. We're committed to providing heartwarming stories highlighting the best of Wisconsin communities.


Mark F. Roling

Mark F. Roling is a seasoned studio executive, award-winning screenwriter, and executive producer of features and television series with several years at Universal and Warner Bros. Studios. Some of his accomplishments include: 

Mark created and co-wrote the dark episodic action thriller, APOSTLE 21, the border crime series OKLAHOMEN, the slow-burn comedy SINCLAIR CITY and has been responsible for procuring and developing other series and features with his partners at Uprising. Mark is currently in production on the feature, THE GENESEE, with William Fichtner.

E.G. Voss

E.G. Voss is a 30-year veteran Wisconsin police detective sergeant who's investigated everything from the mundane to murder. A prolific novelist and screenwriter, Voss' works include:

Current television series/features as co-creator/writer include OKLAHOMEN, SINCLAIR CITY, MURDER MADE CASUAL, PENWERN, A MURDEROUS DILEMMA, and THE VISION.

Andy Drefs

Andy Drefs obtained his degree in Communications focusing on radio and TV broadcasting after serving on the campus and TV radio stations. While working for the McDonnell-Douglas aircraft company, he was accepted into the U.S. Navy’s prestigious  Aviation Officer Candidate School where he graduated 3rd in his class. After budget reductions in flight command, Andy returned to Wisconsin to run a restaurant with his brother.

In 2006 he launched his own video production company, Bottom Line Productions. Over the years, he's produced numerous professional corporate videos for commercial websites in the Milwaukee area.

While producing videos, he created V-Books, printed, hardcover books that house a self-contained video player primarily employed as a sales tool.

 V-Book clients include the Milwaukee Bucks,

Milwaukee Brewers, Polaris ATVs, and Dow Agrosciences. 

 He currently serves on the "tech-team" for a large church operating one of the cameras for the online streaming of one of the weekly services.

Peter Oyloe

PETER OYLOE is an actor, singer/songwriter, and historic preservationist who has traveled the world with his creative work. He has been awarded 5 professional Best Actors awards for his acting performances, being nominated 4 additional times as an actor and composer and has been called a “Future Folk Legend…” for his songwriting work. A short film he starred in, as well as composed the music for, was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival in France. Most recently Peter was seen on stage as Johnny Cash in the musical Ring of Fire the Music of Johnny Cash, a show he also performed at the historic Carter Fold where Johnny Cash had his last public performance. He has starred in many plays, musicals, operas, as well as short films and other on-screen works. Some highlights included Alan Strang in Equus, The Phantom in Phantom, Michael in Pillowman, Marius in Les Misérables, Gorgio in Passion, as well as Johnny Cash in the National Tour of Million Dollar Quarter, a role he has performed to nearly 500,000 people around North America. Peter has also starred as Hank Williams in the award-winning musical Hank Williams Lost Highway. “…all masterfully performed by the amazing talent that is actor and singer Peter Oyloe. Oyloe embodies every aspect of the man Williams was, including the dark moments of the life and career that ended far too soon.” Peter is passionate about historic architecture and preservation, animals/nature, and art/antiques/ collecting. Peter is always engaged in traveling and learning in all forms. He is the Co-Founder of the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation, a 501 c3 Non-Profit, which is committed to the restoration of the historic Lynnewood Hall Estate in Philadelphia while engaging in the education of the next generation of historic preservationists. He works tirelessly to find creative solutions to pressing preservation concerns and is committed to leaving the world a little better than when he found it, through collaboration and positive creative pursuit. Peter is also a published poet and writes often, with his favorite forms being poetry, songwriting, and short stories.
